What is the difference between erotica and pornography? Does this anthology fit into either definition, and how so?

Are there stories in this anthology that you think cross over into other flavors? Do you think it’s affective to categorize erotica in such a way? Why or why not? Is there a category of women’s erotica that was left out of this anthology?

Writers and editors of erotica must pay close attention to the “geography of sex,” i.e. they must ensure that whatever sex scenes they create on paper are actually physically possible given the dimensions of the characters’ surroundings and the physical proportions of the characters themselves. Were there any sex scenes in this anthology that seemed too difficult or even impossible in real life? As an editor, how would you have solved this problem? Would it have added to or taken away from the story?

Were there any stories in this anthology that you would label as “typically male” or “typically female”? Why?

As erotica becomes more mainstream, with major bookstore chains carrying erotic books and anthologies, the question of literary merit comes up. Do you feel that an erotic short story, such as the stories in this anthology, have any literary significance, or would you simply classify them in the same category as “Romance” or “Chick Lit”? Why or why not?
